Lego City Magazine is a convenient way to extend your city with corresponding minifigures and accessories. The Magazine Gifts usually include a minifigure plus an extra. It started off in 2017 with very common themes (police, construction, …). 2018 seems to bring a welcome change in moving to current special themes.
Lego City Magazine 5 was released January 2018 and comes with CITY951805 – Police Buggy introducing us to the Mountain Police line.
I’ll be honest – I’m currently building a minifigure of myself and I liked the head of our mountain policeman. I wish my beard was as kept as his 😉
The build of the ATV is super simple, but City sets are traditionally more focused on play value. The buggy is fun to drive, allows the minifigure to sit or stand and comes with an emergency light. You can even store the handcuffs on a clip at the back of the vehicle. What else could we ask for in such a small set?
I’m looking forward to the next issue in March, that is going to introduce us to the Mining theme.
